Jolly Swagman & Dog story

The Jolly Swagman, his dog and the Jumbuck in his Tuckerbag statue is a landmark for Toowoomba. It symbolises the tale from Australia’s best known bush ballad – Waltzing Matilda, written by Banjo Paterson.

Created by Artist Andrew Whitehead of ScrapartOz, this statue has been a winner of the Margaret Timbs Design Concept Award.
